 Who could
know what that day in 1957 would bring when Frank Sinatra strolled into a small nightclub
in Hollywood called the "Slate Brothers". Don Rickles, an unknown comedian, was
performing and said, "Make yourself at home, Frank… Hit somebody!" Frank
doubled over laughing and from that time on became one of Don’s biggest fans. After
that day, Hollywood’s best were flocking to the club to become the brunt of
Don’s soon to be famous insults.
Don’s career was off and running and by 1959 he was playing
Las Vegas. He has played the fabulous Hotels and Casinos of that great city including the
Riviera, Golden Nugget, Stars’ Desert Inn and the Sahara, where he invited Jimmy
Chapel to perform with him.
 Don’s career is now well
known throughout the United States and overseas. His credits include The Don Rickles Show,
CPO Sharkey, The Big Show, Foul-ups, Bleeps and Blunders, Two Top Bananas, Don Rickles on
the Loose, Daddy Dearest and many more, including the voice of "Potato Head" in
Disney’s Toy Story.
