recipient of two top "Canadian Dance Music Awards" as
a solo artist, has assembled a mega unit of "seasoned" performers well known for
rockin' the Corporate, Fair & Festival circles with their "Tribute to
Motown" and 70's-80's dance medleys.
Loni Gamble & Sound Cheque have
opened for top name artist such as: "The Temptations",
"The Trammps" and "Blessed Union of
Souls". The group also performs at a number of Atlantic City & Mt.
Pocono resorts: "The Taj Mahal", "Trop
World", "Caesars", Woodloch
Pines, etc.
Although famous for their renditions of Motown Classics like Smokey Robinson's "Ooh Baby Baby", Martha &
The Vandella's "Heatwave", Diana Ross & The
Supremes "Baby Love" and retro chart toppers like
Chic's "Freak Out", the versatility of this group
really shines through when Gamble woo's the crowd with Frank Sinatra's "Just
the Way You Look Tonight", or when they bring it to the 90's with Will
Smith's "Gettin' Jiggy Wit it", or Ricki Martin's
"Livin La Vida Loca".
As guests of the Williamsport Symphony Orchestra in May of 1999
& the Bloomsburg University Orchestra in November of 2000, this outstanding group of
performers have come full circle in the world of entertainment.
